Access & special requirements information

ASPiH are dedicated to making sure that all delegates have a great experience at conference.

We have worked with the EICC to ensure attendance for all is possible, please find further information on this page regarding access and assistance.

Registration

During registration you will be asked to advise if you have any of the below needs. Once identified, the events team will get in contact closer to the event to discuss how we can best assist you onsite.

  • Require captions - This can be organised 
  • Require a sign language interpreter - The venue can help organise interpreters.
  • If you will be accompanied by a service animal or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) - Service animals can attend – We will ensure there is a place in aisles/table for the dog – drinking water provided
  • If you require wheelchair access? - All rooms at the EICC are wheelchair accessible.
  • Any other needs - We will work with you and the venue to assist 

Other areas the venue can offer assistance:

  • Front row seats reserved for visually impaired. The venue have reserved seats signs that can be laid out.
  • Quiet room - For anyone needing a break from the noise of conference, family room or multi-faith prayer room
  • Dedicated wheelchair area in exhibition/ refreshments and breakout rooms
  • PCAs have free entrance
  • There are parking spaces available on Morrison Street for blue badge registered vehicles.

 

Further useful information:

  • The pavement outside the Venue is in good condition and it’s all one level.
  • Accessible registration desk
  • All levels are accessible but the venue does have ramps if necessary.
  • The venue has big directional signage
  • The numbers in the lifts are in braille
  • If you require a loop system we can organise this if informed ahead of time
  • Flashing fire alarms
